Wall Street Journal: Η ελληνική κυβέρνηση έλαβε 500.εκ ευρώ, για να εγκλωβίσει στην Ελλάδα πρόσφυγες και μετανάστες!

Σοκ και δέος προκαλούν οι αποκαλύψεις της Wall Street Journal για ύπαρξη σχεδίου Β σχετικά με το προσφυγικό από την ΕΕ που προβλέπει εγκλωβισμό των μεταναστών στην Ελλάδα, καθώς θεωρούν ότι θα ήταν πιο διαχειρίσιμη η κρίση από ό,τι να εγκλωβιστούν στις φτωχότερες χώρες των Βαλκανίων.

Οπως σημειώνεται η ΕΕ ψάχνει να συγκεντρώσει περισσότερα κονδύλια για να τα δώσει στην Ελλάδα, με τον Γιούνκερ να έχει ήδη προσφέρει 500 εκατ. ευρώ στον Τσίπρα. Σύμφωνα με το ίδιο δημοσίευμα, ανώτεροι Ευρωπαίοι αξιωματούχοι έχουν αρχίσει και δέχονται αυτό που θεωρούσαν ταμπού μέχρι σήμερα, δηλαδή να εγκλωβίσουν τους μετανάστες στην Ελλάδα, ένα βήμα που αναγνωρίζουν ότι θα μπορούσε να δημιουργήσει μια ανθρωπιστική κρίση στη χώρα.

Αυτό το λεγόμενο Plan Β είναι ένα σημάδι της εξασθένισης της εμπιστοσύνης στις άλλες πολιτικές της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης για την αντιμετώπιση της μεταναστευτικής κρίση, ιδίως στο σχέδιο της Μέρκελ το οποίο βασίζεται κυρίως στην Τουρκία να ανακόψει την ανθρώπινη παλίρροια.

Τέσσερις ανώτεροι αξιωματούχοι της ΕΕ, δήλωσαν στην WSJ ότι η Ελλάδα, ως κράτος μέλος της ΕΕ, θα μπορούσε επίσης να λάβει περισσότερη χρηματοδότηση από την Ευρώπη καθώς και άλλη βοήθεια, για να αντιμετωπίσει ρους μετανάστες, από ότι οι γειτονικές της Βαλκανικές χώρες, όπου οι εθνοτικές συγκρούσεις θα μπορούσαν να φουντώσουν ανά πάσα στιγμή. Μόλις το μήνυμα περάσει ότι οι μετανάστες έχουν κολλήσει στην Ελλάδα, λιγότεροι άνθρωποι θα προσπαθούν πια να έρθουν από την Τουρκία, σημειώνουν οι αξιωματούχοι.

Όπως αποκαλύπτει η εφημερίδα, σύμφωνα με πηγές στις Βρυξέλλες, ο Ζαν Κλοντ Γιούνκερ πρόσφερε την περασμένη εβδομάδα στον Αλέξη Τσίπρα 500 εκατ. ευρώ σε κοινοτικά κονδύλια για να αντιμετωπίσει τις προσφυγικές ροές. Σύμφωνα με εκτιμήσεις της κυβέρνησης το κόστος του προσφυγικού το 2016 θα ανέλθει στο 1 δισ. ευρώ. Άλλωστε, όπως επισημαίνει η εκπρόσωπος της Κομισιόν, Νατάσα Μπερτό, επιβεβαίωσε εμμέσως ότι η Επιτροπή ψάχνει τρόπους να αντλήσει χρήματα για να βοηθήσει στην Ελλάδα, ωστόσο δεν είπε πόσα.

EU to Allocate $765 Million for Refugees Stuck in Greece

Money is earmarked for humanitarian aid inside the EU and primary target is Greece

BRUSSELS—The European Union is preparing to allocate €700 million ($765 million) over the next three years for humanitarian aid inside the bloc, primarily for Greece, where tens of thousands of migrants are being bottled up by the imposition of border restrictions by countries further north.

Under the plan, to be formally put forward on Wednesday by the European Commission, the bloc’s executive, EU funds will be used for humanitarian operations within the bloc as they currently are in conflict zones in Africa and the Middle East, according to three officials familiar with the talks.

At present, the bloc’s budget and staff can only be used to a limited extent to deal with humanitarian operations inside the EU, mainly to coordinate bilateral aid sent by other EU countries to a member state in distress, for instance when there is an earthquake or other natural disaster. Setting up refugee camps in tandem with the United Nations’ refugee agency (UNHCR) has up to now been something that could only be done outside the EU.

At their last meeting in Brussels on Feb. 19, EU leaders said it was “necessary to now put in place the capacity for the EU to provide humanitarian assistance internally, in cooperation with organizations such as the UNHCR, to support countries facing large numbers of refugees and migrants.” They asked the commission to come up with a proposal as soon as possible.

The instrument will only need the approval of the bloc’s member states, as it is based on a provision in the EU treaties that doesn’t require the involvement of the European Parliament.

National border restrictions put in place by Austria and the Balkan countries, combined with the bloc’s declared objective of reinstating the rule under which migrants must apply for asylum in their country of arrival in the EU, has accelerated the humanitarian crisis shaping up in Greece.

Earlier this month, commission chief Jean-Claude Junckerpromised Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras €500 million to help him cope with the imminent humanitarian crisis, according to one official. Greek officials estimate that the costs relating to the migration crisis—given the likelihood that more people will get stuck in the country—will reach €1 billion this year alone.
